Paris Hilton has been named the “Most Overrated Person” in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records.

The record was based on information gleaned from a number of magazine polls, in which Paris Hilton was named most often as readers’ least favorite and/or most overrated celebrity.

Do you think she deserves the title? Can you think of anyone more overrated?

Actress Kate Hudson and her husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, are separating after nearly six years of marriage.

The couple were married on New Year’s Eve 2000 and their son, Ryder Russell, was born in 2004.

This was the first marriage for Hudson and the second for Robinson.

I know sisters like to raid one another’s closets and borrow clothing, but I’m not sure why both sisters chose this stewardess-y, waitress-y dress. I first spotted Nicky wearing this dress back in April and Paris has worn the same dress in just the past few weeks.

Two Hiltons. Same dress. Which one wears it best? Paris? Nicky? Neither?

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes say they are finally bowing to public pressure and will release photos their daughter ’shortly’.

There are many rumors swirling around as to where the photos will appear including a story that the pictures will be featured in a fall issue of Vanity Fair and the photographs will be shot by legendary photgrapher Annie Liebowitz.

But, again, this is all speculation at this point. The only thing that’s been confirmed is that we will see Suri “shortly”.

My question is, does anyone really care anymore? What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing the photos?

Lindsay Lohan has expressed a desire to go and entertain the troops in Iraq and says she has been trying to travel to the war torn country with Senator Hillary Clinton for a long time but that it “seemed too dangerous”.

But now, she says, even without Sen. Clinton, she is confident she can handle an Iraq trip on her own. “I’m not afraid of going. My security guard is going to take me to a gun range when I get back to L.A., and I’m going to start taking shooting lessons.”

Lindsay also expressed a desire to emulate one of the greatest sex symbols of all time by saying, “I wanted to do what Marilyn Monroe did (during the Korean War), when she went and just set up a stage and did a concert for the troops all by herself.It’s so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who’s basically a pinup, which is what I’ve always aspired to be.”

Well, it’s good to have goals. So many of today’s starlets want to be just like Marilyn. Hopefully, without the depression, drugs and untimely demise.

I think the shooting lessons are a good idea, though. There’s nothing like strapping on an automatic rifle to perform a concert. And, she won’t have to leave her vast collection of bikinis at home either. After all, it’s hot in Iraq…

Britney Spears’ maternity fashions belong in a category all their own.

I mean, the pieces she puts together definitely show a creative side and a love for bright colors, right? At the very least, you can be assured that she is coming up with these outfits on her own and that no pesky stylists were involved.

Consider the first ensemble: a red baseball cap with a purple and yellow printed dress and white platform flip flops. The hat definitely adds an unexpected twist.

Or, ensemble number two: madras shorts with a sequinned tank and the same white platform flip flops. That’s definitely original.

I certainly would never have thought to put these things together…

Impossibly thin former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, is on a mission to add some weight to her sleight frame in order to conceive a fourth child with husband David Beckham.

The Daily Mail reports her new diet is laden with carbohydrates, replacing her usual fare of sushi and steamed vegetables.

The couple have three sons and, although David has urged Victoria to gain weight in the past, she finally agreed to the new diet because she is hoping to add a daughter to the family.

As a new girl on the scene, Paola Varela might want maximum exposure, but I’m pretty sure that her thighs don’t. What’s worse than unflattering leggings is unflattering leggings with a shiny, shiny gleam to them. The pose isn’t helping much either.

I understand that the Miami Vice premiere could be an opportunity to get glamorous, but this doesn’t really qualify. My tip? Go for the sexy girl-next-door look, Paola. You’ll go far, and your thighs will thank you for it.
