Oh. My. I was so shocked when I first saw this photo. I thought it was Alicia Silverstone, who (sadly enough) has a tendency to look rather lost, a little frumpy, and very washed out. But it’s actually Heidi Klum–did anyone else respond with an AH! too?
She must be so tired with her new baby, so I’m avoiding negativity. If she’s out of her sweatpants and around town, I’m impressed. Heidi has to be totally exhausted, and it’s kind of refreshing to see a super-hot model without makeup, anyway. I’m sure she knew that the paparazzi would be out, but she didn’t care. Bravo!

Jaime Presley’s gown flatters her pregnant shape so well. She makes the most of pregnancy cleavage, skims over her belly, and chose an understated color that flatters her eyes and her skin tone. Excellent accessorization, too, if I must say so–I love that Jaime’s not wearing a necklace and chose long dangling earrings to highlight her slim neck. I only hope I can look like that when I’m pregnant.

The Screen Actor’s Guild was filled with a lot of beauties (and talented winners), but as you’ll see later, only one really horrid looking woman. Now for the Best Dressed of the SAGs, 2007.

Mariska Hargitay in Carolina Herrara
She hasn’t lost all the pregnancy weight, but we don’t care! She looks as gorgeous as ever, and this includes her hair. (I’m a poet …)

Eva Longoria in Vera Wang
I love the flouncy grey … tulle(?).
And finally my very best dressed, although she looked a lot better in movement (sorry):
Sandra Oh in an unknown gown.

It was perfection.

It’s shocking how good Demi looks. How “old” is she, anyway? This Alberta Ferretti gown is a smashing color–daring, too–and she’s rocking a look I would normally reserve for someone half her age. Completely genius choice, Demi!

I was really searching for hideous outfits from the SAG Awards (much more fun!), but Cate Blanchett looks wonderful and I can’t deny it. That bronze color is sensational with her skin tone, the v-neck deep but not skanky, and her hair is perfectly styled and wonderfully smooth.
Okay, the length is the only thing that bothers me a little… but still, Cate joined the ranks of Best Dressed at SAG 2007.
What do you think of her shoes?

It’s a little (lot?) late, but soo worth it. It’s totally buzzy that Jessica Biel wore the same dress as Hilary Swank. Yes, but that happens so often, it’s not really news is it?
No one has seemed to point out (or perhaps have found this great photo [sorry, I lost the source!]) how the two starlets compare in looks. Well there simply is no comparison - from hair to derriere, Biel is phat while Swank looks flat.
This is really sad and cruel. Swank has always been boyish, why must she be tortured so? I’d suggest she get some body contouring hose and push-up bras and even have all her future dresses custom-made and one of a kind. Poor girl.
On the gossip front, Biel’s said to be dating Justin Timberlake. I hear poor Cameron’s fuming too. Jessica’s definitely on a lucky streak now, I guess.

Egads! That’s one monstrously see-through shirt on Sharon Stone. Does she look unaware or like she’s enjoying the attention? I’d personally never put anything past Sharon, so I’m voting for the second option. Don’t celebs learn these things after a decade-plus in the spotlight? Sheesh.

Lindsay does seem to be getting out quite a bit even after she checked into Wonderland Treatment Facility…but as her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick stated, “It’s not a Betty Ford Clinic, it’s not a lockdown facility. There is personal time.” In Lindsay’s case, it’s personal time for a hairstylist, a masseuse, and a make-up artist. Well, whatever it takes! Do you think that Lindsay is getting special treatment in rehab?

I’m not jealous of celebrities per se, but I am jealous of their wardrobes. And what makes me even more jealous is all of their free wardrobe builders–lingerie, cute tees, and one-offs from new designers.
According to the L.A. Times, Sienna Miller may be putting some of her free things on auction, because, as she admitted, “[…]It makes you feel guilty. I did get given some stuff I didn’t ask for necessarily…then I found out that you can actually give it to this company that auctions it on EBay and gives the money for charity.”
And what kind of stuff might show up? Oh, just a $1,200 Melrose Mac laptop, an $800 Botkier bag, and $8,000 worth of Lia Sophia jewelry, among other things. Drool. Would you donate your free swag to charity if you were a celebrity?

Tyra spoke up about her weight in People magazine, saying that:
“I get so much mail from young girls who say, ‘I look up to you, you’re not as skinny as everyone else, I think you’re beautiful.’ So when they say that my body is ‘ugly’ and ‘disgusting,’ what does that make those girls feel like? I still feel hot, but every day is different. It’s when I put on those jeans that used to fit a year ago and don’t fit now and give me the muffin top, that’s when I say, ‘Damn!’ […] If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there–the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those (horrible) things.”
It’s good to hear an ex-model feel comfortable enough about her weight to talk about Muffin Top, one of the worst wardrobe afflictions known to man. Tyra’s honesty is commendable, along with her healthy self image.
