I hate to admit it, but I am headed for the theaters this weekend to watch Blades of Glory. Costume designer Julie Weiss just left me transfixed with her outrageous leotard-y concoctions. I know they’re bad, but I’m transfixed. Real figure skating costumes can be disturbing enough, and these gaudy costumes are just off the map.

I don’t know about this outfit that Tyra chose to wear while shopping around DSW this week. It’s questionable at best: heavy black bag, white shoes, bold stripes and a wild paisley-esque jacket. At least, I think that’s what she’s wearing. It’s hard to tell when your eyesight has been temporarily impaired. Fashion overload, Tyra.

I think I can muster up enough excitement to say that the Sex and the City film has finally arrived. It’s been drummed up so much that I feel like it’s already happened. Perezhilton gave us the exclusive:

There had been talk recently, but now the ink is dry and the papers are signed! Sources confirm exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Sarah Jessica Parker and everyone else involved just closed their deals this week to star in a big screen feature adaptation of Sex & The City. And, yes, Kim Cattrall will be in it!

I have to say that I’ll giggle a little if Paris actually ends up in jail. She ended up with probation after pleading to alcohol-related reckless driving in February, but things have started to cook up regarding her suspended license. A city official was quoted saying:

“We have sufficient evidence to prove that Hilton had knowledge of the suspension, and yet continued to drive.”

I wonder how this will turn out. Why didn’t she just get a driver?!

Hilary looked wonderful at the premiere of her new film, The Reaping, but can anyone figure out why she would wear these simply horrendous shoes? I’m puzzled why she paired them with diamonds. The horror! I think I saw these shoes in the supermarket today. On an eighty year old.

Jim Carrey has reportedly given girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy, the green light to cheat on him … as long as its with her crush Justin Timberlake.

Hmm, Jenny is hot (allegedly) so that’s kind of like allowing Jim to buy the newest, rarest, most IT and expensive Chloé bags as a gift to one special girl, because that’s her favorite designer (she has a huge thing for the brand’s handbags).

And I know just the girl - ME! Although I’d have to duke it out with Pursed Lips’ Designer Ella. She’s demure, but I’d still be afraid, Chloé fans as big as she is are loony and I think they’d give their firstborns for say - the Quilted Bay. Oh but you don’t want to think about crossing them and their Paddingtons! *Shudder*

So really if Jim gets jealous, a quick hint that the Chloé train will start rolling elsewhere will make Jen see the light. (Men with hot girlfriends, take note.)

This is the second day that I’ve seen Courtney Love on the beach. I know she’s really improved her physique since around December, when she was looking especially bloated, but this suit isn’t doing her much justice. The peek-a-boo slash is weird. Who wants to look at that? It’s severe and in a strange place. The summary? Body, good. Bathing suit, bad.

What is wrong with Christina Aguilera? I don’t get her. There’s just so much to say and ponder, so we’ll mostly focus this post on fashion and particularly Xtina’s choice of recent footwear (with a little extra tidbits in the following photo).

Here Christina is last week, first in stripper-heighted platform heels, then cute frilly pink pumps a la a mixture of Steve Madden and Nanette Lepore (I’m thinking they might be Irregular Choice though?).

It’s not like Christina has a split personality in the rest of her fashion, but she does in real life, it seems. I mean the girl looks like trash, with bleached-to-a-crisp hair and clown makeup; see-through dresses (see below photo gallery), etc. But then she has a great mind, a seemingly sweet and normal husband (what does he see in her?) and the best vocal talent of a generation!

Maybe her look shouldn’t necessarily be something to disrespect? It’s just a look and Aguilera proves herself elsewhere? But she does, and doesn’t need the attention right? Apparently that’s not beneath her though. Does it matter?

To me it does, that’s why I blog pointing out celeb fashion mistakes, duh. But really, there’s nothing wrong with hoping for class in a true idol’s appearance. Oh, but what can be done, we’ll just wonder — who Christina Aguilera really is.

Chris Sligh won’t be returning to compete on American Idol after his Tuesday night performance deemed, "a train wreck" by even Randy (Paula seemed out of it and too gently kind from the moments I saw of the ep though).

It’s too bad Chris won’t be "bringing chubby back" as was his adopted Idol slogan.

I didn’t see his performance, but I did see the last song and closing as they went late into House’s time slot. I even ended up voting, too.

I based my call-in on the farewell clips, and I did not vote for Sligh.
