It’s nice to see that Lindsay’s really been dedicating herself to getting better in rehab. By, you know, leaving. At least she’s been going to the gym and will benefit from all those naturally produced endorphins, instead of highs of a different kind. Hopefully she can keep it up whenever she gets out.

Speaking of rehab, Richie Sambora has checked into an undisclosed L.A. treatment center, and his publicist issued the statement that “He asks that you respect he and his family’s privacy at this time.” I bet we wouldn’t have even noticed until he got out, but now it’s news. Smooth.

Rihanna’s latest diet commentary on her diet leaves a lot to be desired. So much for healthy role models!

I like carbs but at the end of the day, carbs are the enemy. It wasn’t so much losing weight as being fit and toned and healthy. I just didn’t feel great. ‘Now I’m working out and trying to eat healthy. That’s making me lose weight without even thinking about it.’ Rihanna, 19, has been giving special attention to her curvaceous butt. She added: ‘I work with a trainer. We work on the arms and we work on my butt, because I love my butt. But my legs are my main focus. I’m obsessed.’

Eh. I liked her better when she was curvier, but feeling healthy is always, in the words of Martha, a good thing. “Carbs are the enemy,” though? Don’t you think that that’s going a bit too far?

The CFDA Fashion Awards really brought out some winners this year, including a rather stunning looking Ashley Olsen. I know, right? I was surprised, too. I’d die for those eyes. Plus, Ashley finally looks mature and sophisticated.

I love Eva Mendes’ hair. It’s super shiny and kind of caramel colored, so it overshadows what looks like a rather shapeless dress.

Elisha Cuthburt may be posing weirdly, but her face and tan are flawless. I haven’t seen slim spaghetti straps look so good in a long time.

Jennifer Garner not only spends a lot of time with her daughter being absolutely adorable, but she also hugs giant furry mascots. Most celebs would look like they were doing something totally fake, but Jen looks genuinely happy doing it, too–how weird. And endearing.

Jennifer looks like she’s going to be extending that cuteness with her new talk show that was described as “The View for mothers.” The View without the yelling and backstabbing, I presume. She’s planning to appear regularly with Violet, most likely looking cute.

Do you remember controversial Shemar Moore? Well, he’s the last one to add himself to the list of celebrity with DUIs. According to TMZ.com, he was busted and busted good:

According to the CHP arrest report obtained by TMZ, the former “Young and the Restless” star was pulled over after officers noticed the actor speeding near Santa Monica Blvd. at 1:30 AM. After he was stopped, cops reported that Moore “displayed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted.” Moore was then arrested and transported to a nearby station, where he took a breath test and was later booked.

Now we can finally lay to rest how he poses and start picking him apart in brand new ways. Just kidding!

New Rule: Assaulting photogs is not a punishable offense.

I’m not saying paparazzi aren’t human, I’m just saying their line of work means they’re the ones who A) don’t belong where they shoot and B) act in a manner that should be considered criminal.

Paparazzi stalking stars should be seen as trespassing, and celebs should be allowed to take action to protect their images.

No one actually gets upset at these stars acting out against photographers, do they? We should applaud these stars, as we wish we could act out against those unsolicited phone callers!

Today Paris is spending her first full day in jail, after turning herself in last night to be processed. I wonder if it is a full day of settling in and learning the ropes type of activities, or does Paris have time alone spent being reflective or more likely feeling scared. What good could come from this? To be positive one would think some maturity, self awareness/reflection, or even substance abuse help. More likely Paris will still see herself as a victim with a “why me” attitude and leave this time of incarceration with no inner growth at all.

For a person who craves publicity, who thrives on it and is seen by the general populous as her sole reason for existence, this whole experience certainly will provide much publicity even if it is not exactly prime publicity. But a savvy celebrity whose life is so much in the public eye can twist any situation around and in the end come out looking like a winner. Paris has many fans, many people who crave any news and information about her. People will support her no matter what and some will love and adore her even more.

So here is to Paris’s first day locked up, and with good behavior only 22 more to serve!

Heidi Klum was out shopping with her three nannies and her mother in Soho. I’m not sure if this would reduce my stress levels or not, but I’d probably make sure that they didn’t all color coordinate with me. Gross.
