I’m not sure what to think about the recent Lindsay Lohan rumors. Do you think she could have been set up by friend Samantha Ronson? According to Celebrity Babylon, she was:

[W]hile her DJ pal Samantha Ronson, 29, looks like she’s there to help her pal through thick and thin, she’s really reportedly making a tidy profit on the side, shilling Lohan, 20, out to photographers eager to get her photo looking passed out and wasted. “There were three of them crammed into the Mercedes sports car and Samantha was the one that had the cocaine with her [and] made a side trip to a gas station.” A source tells Celebrity Babylon, “The car was only down a quarter tank, and yet Samantha stopped for gas. She has a side deal with a photo agency and they paid her to make the pit stop!” If that wasn’t shocking enough, sources say that it was Ronson Lindsay later questioned [...] about leaving [the cocaine] in the car for the cops to find.

Oooh. Sounds like trouble. But while there’s all this negative stuff floating about, others have stepped up to the plate and wished Lindsay well. I’m actually pretty impressed with model Lauren Hastings, who submitted a clip wishing Lindsay Lohan well at Promises. I think it would be pretty hard to get over the whole clothes fiasco, really. I think not. I know they’re a big trend, but you’re got to be careful not to abuse them. I’m not sure what Nicole Richi would look like if she weren’t all scrunched up and hiding from stalkerazzi, but I’m guessing those wide stripes swamp her small frame.

Judging from the little piece in Life and Style, I’m not the only one who thinks Vanessa Minnillo’s tee is just right. She picked the perfect fit–slightly loose and a little longer–to complement her longer shorts and bag. Although I’m questioning that part about horizontal stripes being “surprisingly slimming”. . .

I know that she’s got that freshly-floured look going on with a heavy layer of makeup, but something else is weird about Eva. I can’t quite place it–could it be that she’s slimming down for her upcoming wedding? Or is this just a reallllly unflattering dress? Something’s afoot.

I just read this slightly odd news report on Celebrity Blog that I need to share: Vanessa Williams’ dog disappeared and has sparked the rumors of a dognapping ring in Westchester County. Gasp! The Mount Pleasant police chief Louis Alagno offered an alternative reason as well:

In our suburban community, unfortunately, the presence of coyotes is very common and on occasion we’ve had confirmed predation by coyotes of small pets.

Either way, it’s bad. But is it news, especially without anything confirmed? I kind of wish it wasn’t. I do hope Vanessa’s dog turns up. . .

Lindsay Lohan’s big sponsor for her 21st birthday, Svedka Vodka, has backed out of the bash following her DUI. If you’re not surprised yet, Pure and Caesars are also reconsidering. I can imagine that Lindsay has more important things to worry about at Promises than her birthday party, though. . . Like lost roles, perhaps?
