‘Christian’ Kids’ Poll Finds Spears, Paris = ‘Naughty’

November 30, 2007 at 7:21 am by Sarah Jean Snarker

A poll for children ages 2 (yeah I don’t know how it was conducted) to 17 found Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are “naughty.” Even more so than Darth Vadar (well, what has he done, lately) and the Grinch (hey, didn’t they both “turn to good” in the end?).

I say Christian because it’s obvious the terms are taken from Santa’s big ol’ list, and the time of year this is, but maybe those kids think repenting before death and/or Christmas Day makes one less evil than poptarts parading their vajayjay’s everywhere. It really is relative, huh?

I have issue with Miley Cyrus aka Hanna Montana topping the “nice” column for kids under 13. Children do forget easily, huh? Even about their stupid losing out on concert tickets. But what makes her “nicer” than anthropologist slash official Mrs. Adoption, Angelina Jolie (the elder kids’ fav)? Hmm?

Miley Cyrus = not nice

Oh but the 13 to 17 year olds apparently do not forgive because Ms. Confessions of a Repentive Teen Star, Lindsay Lohan, came in 3rd naughtiest (rarr) on theirs.

Apparently drugs are just worse than murder and oh, stealing Christmas.

Sarah Jessica Parker in spanx underwear

Was Sarah Jessica Parker’s recent onset upskirt ‘naughty?’ No, but/because she had ’spanx.’ Yes, she had big, white boxer-brief lookin’ undergarments on. They’re for sure Spanx, by looking at the sheerness in photo 1.

And now for some shoe spotting!!! More, more, more »

Rihanna About in Melrose with Be & D Bag

November 25, 2007 at 9:07 am by Sarah Jean Snarker

Rihanna was spotted a week ago in Melrose carrying a hard-to-find new quilted-leather Be & D bag that appears to flow with similar style to the current FW ‘07/08 Be & D line’s textured satchels, which in itself is mostly a tough-to-find buy atm.

Let’s rock those comparison photos……

I may not know where to buy, but now you know who to search for.

What, is there a Minimum Age Req. for Sexiest Man Alive?

November 24, 2007 at 2:35 pm by Sarah Jean Snarker

People’s Sexiest Man Alive this year (a ridiculous concept, that it changes every year) is Matt Damon. What? Look, he’s a great guy, but he ain’t that cute.

People’s Sexiest Men

They’ve managed to take two out of three of the top men, as voted by them, and make them look old, tired and with lifeless hair. (McDreamy, however, is actually kind of McDreamy this season, actually.)
Ladies and Gentlemen, the true Sexiest Man Alive for a good while to come is actually… More, more, more »

I’ll lure you here with a piece of hot ass…

November 24, 2007 at 1:40 pm by Sarah Jean Snarker

But what really is here is Britney Spears, hot piece of anything anymore, or not.

See, her album’s not doing well anymore, so I thought you should take a listen to her new single, “Piece of Me“. It’s a good track about the paparazzi, etc. No really .. it’s good. Well, to a certain standard.

At least you’ll try it, the woman needs to feed her kids. Or she needs to pay Fed-X to feed them or something.

Lindsay Lohan is Fabulous…

November 24, 2007 at 11:48 am by Sarah Jean Snarker

Here she is (on Wed.) wearing the new Balenciaga bag and - duh - a logo Chanel scarf.

Lindsay Lohan

But is Lindsay Lohan still fabulous or back to fabulous? Which ever, this might be back on a dangerous ride. Does the coke come next?

… However, there is hope…

November 21, 2007 at 12:00 pm by Sarah Jean Snarker

Meanwhile, the world has not catapulted into Hell just yet, perhaps

There’s hope. In that young little Hayden Panettiere wears cream-toned panties. Yes, she wears panties.

Thank the Lord. After that headline, I was worried about my little Heroes star.

Good girl!

Headline News: Christina Aguilera’s New Upskirt Photos

November 21, 2007 at 11:57 am by Sarah Jean Snarker

Pregnant Christina Aguilera

When I first read the photo headline - I had to look. (Come on!)

Christina Aguilera up skirt

Then it hit me, “she’s pregnant, we can’t be looking at the panties of a pregnant woman! Have-” … then I saw the second picture. “That’s not panties.”

Oh my god! We can’t be looking at vaginas of pregnant women! Have some decency!

(Stop looking!! Now!!)

But then I started thinking — “Xtina! You’re PREGNANT! Have some decency!”

Is she worried about ruining underwear come water-breaking time? (When is that now, could be soon.) Insane labor speed goals??!

Gosh, if you must go pantiless for some reason, avoid motor vehicles entirely! Have you no brain??!

One final note, kudos on the wax job, I believe a woman must look her best come leg-spreading time. Yes, I especially mean labor.

MySpace e-Series, ‘Quarterlife,’ Nabbed by NBC

November 21, 2007 at 11:29 am by Sarah Jean Snarker

For reasons possibly brought on by the Writer’s Strike and its ironic ties to Internet TV, NBC has nabbed MySpace twentysomething e-show, Quarterlife, to air next numeric year on its own television channel.

[Daily News] Facing a possible freeze in new programming because of the Writer’s Guild of America strike, the network has reached an agreement with [Quarterlife creators] that would allow them to air six, hour-long episodes culled from the clips that are now airing on MySpace and quarterlife.com.

NBC will get the show after they’ve all run online.

Quarterlife; Episode 1, pt. 1
You just have to get past the very early-in sing-song, and watch it get [mostly] better.

What this means is that not only will Internet savvy watchers be bored by literally re-runs later this winter, but a selling point and crucial aspect of the point of the show will be lostit will not air online.

This matters for several reasons. The lead character in the show, Dylan, is a vlogger, (not blogger) which ties into not only the theme but the very lives of most quarterlifers, both in the fictional series and real life. We youth want innovation and shininess, and we just plain accepted and welcomed the premise — and this is a generation that can not be fooled when what was promised is taken away. We are not big business, and we don’t like it. Is that what this show will become?

And of course, it’s oh-so painfully ironic that the series will be taken off the Internet and put on the muddy airwaves of the boob tube, in this precise time of now. (Is anyone else pissed that our TV is being taken away?) I wouldn’t side with the networks in any new endeavor, and now this show might as well be taken away — for I say take it! It may have just lost its cool.

Conversely, however, co-creator, Marshall Herzkowitz, was quoted to say that This serves the Writers Guild more than the companies. Read more and help explain that one to me!

This is a crime in metaphor! An injustice of example! Isn’t it ironic?

There are two ways of fixing this though. First of all, the series, concept and extras need to live on through www.quarterlife.com and MySpace. In fact, leave them/us to still get more 8 minute bits as we currently get, and create new content for hour-long sit-downs during prime time. That would really serve the ADD-web viewers and [to be] fans who want more equally well.

Finally, they need to stop being asshats and give the writers what they deserve!
