Just from watching the finale, though, I favor the big-and-beautiful black woman the most.
And that Clay Aiken moment was so beautiful, all!
Soul Patrol!!! (Whatever that means.)

I think it’s disgraceful that Taylor Hicks won. I’m really glad I’m not american today because the fact that Taylor won sends out a really not nice impression of American’s tastes. I mean come on people, he’s got GREY hair and he’s fugly fugly fugly! He should be no one’s idol. This is just as bad as when Michelle won Pop Idol in the UK.

Although I have never really watched this train-wreck of a show, I did see Taylor’s audition. He’s got a cool and smooth voice. I’m glad to see he’s been crowned King of the Mediocre.

I love Taylor. He’s got a great and interesting voice, is an incredible performer, and plays a mean harmonica. Plus, he seems like a genuine person, kind and humble, and to me, those are wonderful qualities that should be seen in more of our idols.

Heh. Yeah, he is pretty good. It’s just surprising. Some of my friends watching it were just like, “aww, that pretty girl should have won.” A couple were like, “oh, good. The grey-haired guy.” We’re so bad.

yeah WTF he has GREY hair!!! GREY HAIR PEOPLE!! He looks like George Clooney’s much older, genetically deformed brother who spent too much time in the fishing hole behind the nuclear power plant, not that it made as much difference as his 24th set of chromosomes GREY HAIR
