Angelina Joilie has made her dying mother’s final wish come true. Marcheline Bertrand longed to see the smile of her new-born granddaughter.

The ailing French actress, who had Angelina with her ex-husband, Hollywood star Jon Voight, has been receiving round-the-clock cancer care in Beverly Hills. She was too ill to fly to Namibia to be at her daughter’s side for the birth of Shiloh Nouvel last month. Marcheline had managed to spend some time in France earlier in the pregnancy but returned to LA for more medical attention.

“Angelina and her mum are really close. Their time apart during the latter stages of her pregnancy was tough. She originally wanted to give birth to Shiloh in France — the country where her mum was born and raised. But Marcheline simply wasn’t well enough to make the long-haul flight to be by her daughter’s side. Ange has been determined to let her mum hold Shiloh before it was too late. When she finally put Shiloh in her mum’s arms it was an emotional moment to say the least. Angelina was overwhelmed that her mum managed to battle through to see her granddaughter at last.”

The Sun then reported, that Brad Pitt was her ‘hubby-to-be’ which I found very odd. Anyone heard anything about them getting married?
