Ashlee’s on the Move
July 20th, 2006 at 5:51 pm by Biba Girl » Bookmark on del.icio.us » Digg It?Ashlee Simpson is selling her house in Encino, California.
She’s lived in the Royal Oaks estate for less than a year, but perhaps Simpson’s change of man this year brought about a change of mind. She’s ditching her current mansion in favor of a beach house, and won’t that suit boyfriend surfer-slash-guitarist Braxton Olita’s lifestyle a bit better, too?

The estate is listed at $6 million. Okay, it’s got spectacular views, but the biggest perk is found indoors. Simpson admitted that “The selling point for me was the closet.” Yes, I agree: filling a whopping 1,300 square feet of closet space? You can’t put a price on that kind of pleasure.
Although perhaps when I do buy my house, it will look less like a movie theatre.

I want that closet! Do you have a comparison to something else that size? It might be bigger than my family’s house, who knows!

I had to agree. My new home has a walk-in closet, the first I’ve ever had. I’m loving it =)

I think I need one the size of a room, or an actual room. I need lots of shelf space for my purses, but I also want them in display-like placements. So I need more of a room that people can walk into and see my collection!

I don’t understand how Ashlee had the capital to buy this home in the first place. She has zero talent and has been famous for like, 3 of her 15 minutes. I wonder if big-sister-talentless-hack helped out?

:-O She had a #1 debut album and it sold more than her sister’s albums. I think that would bring in some money. I enjoy Ashlee’s abilities more than Jessica’s.

Hmm, did not realize that. So the mystery is not so much how she got the money, but how the album sold so well.
