Ashlee Simpson is going to record a duet with Robert Smith from The Cure. Pete Wentz, the star of Fall Out Boy, is rumored to have had something to do with this musical get-together.

Wentz denied that he had anything to do with it, saying that ““I doubt I had anything to do with it, because they were friends since she was performing in ‘Chicago’. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ashlee - I think the collaboration could be great.”

Ashlee’s also working on music with John Legend, Chad Hugo, and the frontman of Keane, Tim Rice-Oxley for her follow-up album.
