Style-Spotlight

This is one of those outfits where I immediately knew I didn’t like it, but couldn’t really pinpoint exactly why.

Normally, I love pinstripes and any variation on the power suit look, but not this.

Maybe it’s because it looks a bit too 80’s for me with the stripes and ruffled hem and wide, red belt.

Maybe it’s the really big, big 60’s girl group hair paired with the pinstripes.

Or, maybe it’s the high heeled ankle boots. I just don’t like those in general.

I’m just not sure. What do you think of this look?

   She reminds me of a Barbie. Definetly not a good outfit.

   Jenners, you completely beat me to it. I was going to say it reminded me of a Barbie outfit one would have bought in the 80’s. I say 80’s because that’s when I was Barbie-playing age and also, well, because of this particular outfit.

   I agree with all of you. I think each individual piece works but not as a whole. Love the big girl group hair but not with this outfit (I prefer a sequins gown ala Diana Ross and the Supremes). The skirt looks like it got caught in a cab and ripped off just as photographers took this photo.
