Hello everyone. My name is Heidi Golightly and I’m addicted to the fashion faux pas, public embarrassments and personal dramas of celebrities. It is my goal to spread this addiction to all the readers of this blog. I’m your pusher. No one is safe.

Favorite pastimes include teaching (the required day job), reading fashion magazines, scouring the web for the newest fashion and celebrity websites, watching televised awards shows (It’s all about the fashion. Talent, schmalent), excessive shoe buying, searching for the ever elusive perfect outfit and trying as many new beauty products as possible in one month’s time (I’m hoping to get into the Guinness Book of Records). I’ve also been singing and performing for almost twenty years, so I feel a particular kinship with celebrity divas. I mean, if you think famous people are difficult, you should meet some of the local talent I’ve encountered. I’ve seen actors in community theater productions that would terrify Diana Ross.

My motto is: Fashion is fun. Celebrities attempting to dress fashionably is more fun. Cheers!

A knowledgeable fashion snob. A TV junkie, more than movies or music. I don’t care for The Star Embodied (the Collective or “Mass” Personality) OR for the attention celebs get. I write on here to poke fun, to enlighten, but not to partake in idol worship. I have my fashionable favorites, but no one’s really safe. I have my fads, and move on. Do I hate these celebs I ridicule time and again? I’ll never tell if any I do, but officially, I state that I *love* them all!

I discovered my snarky side, and realized I had to blog it. This is a great blog for me, but don’t think I obsess over the subject. It’s fun to dabble in lesser important things, and I love putting things out there, creatively.

Biba Girl

I was a designer in London before I moved into the writing market full-time. I worked with clothes and accessories, even falling into the bridalwear market. The sheer volume of lace, taffeta, tulle, and sequins covering some gowns certainly taught me to appreciate minimalistic fashion. I was also employed as a freelance designer for bag and belt companies operating in London’s east end, and sold my own work in U.S. boutiques.

Fashion Style: I love alternative blends–vintage, designer, and world elements, all wrapped up in one delicious wardrobe! I’m crazy for Moroccan shifts; I collect ’40s evening coats; I love stylish leather flats. Indian, embossed ones are my preference, but in Brazil, they are lovely too. I love Westwood–the Anglomania collection.

I am excited to get snarky about disastrous fashion!
