Britney Spears Sets the Record Straight

In an interview with Matt Lauer that will air this Thursday on the ‘Today’ show, Britney speaks out about the gossip surrounding her marriage to K-Fed, her parenting skills and the paparazzi.
She describes her marriage as “awesome,” and says it’s not true that Federline is living in the basement, as some media have reported.
Britney also talked about being a parent. She said, “I know I’m a good mom.”
When asked about the photographs which showed her driving with Sean Preston in her lap and the criticism surrounding them she said, “I did it with my dad. I’d sit on his lap and I drive. We’re country.”
She also says scrutiny from the paparazzi has made her an “emotional wreck” and she feels they have “crossed the line a little bit”. She encourages the paparazzi “to realize that we’re people and that we… just need privacy and we need our respect. And those are things that you have to have as a human being.”

In the interview, she’s balling! Not quite, but her face is completely wet and scrunched.
