Naomi Campbell’s feathery shift has me spellbound. I want to hate it, but I really, truly can’t. The feathers are arranged to land just so, the sash is kind of–dare I say–bewitching, and although not entirely seasonal, it’s daring and successful–a combination I wish we saw more often.

I even started looking for a feathery accessory of my own. It can be hard to pull off black during the summer–especially in subtropical climates–but feathers do lighten up your basic black. My favorite piece was the Coque Feather Handbag, which is available in the color that matches with everything, but has that light-as-air feathery effect. It would look amazing with floaty chiffon and killer sculpted wedges.

Don’t forget the white bag. This one is from Tod’s and is quite pricey ($880), but I couldn’t resist. For a more affordable version, try a purse from ASOS like the Tassel Shopper.

Slick on a little lip gloss and slip on your flats, and you’re good to go!

She may look less than pleased here, but she’s still damn stylish. All women take note: this is an excellent dress for creating curves and looking plain ol’ hot.

You’ve definitely got to find the right dress. Look for one with a v-neck to flatter your bust! I love this one from Issa because it has great belt potential. Okay, it’s $550.00, but I think it’s worth it.

Get a nice, interesting belt to take off inches. The Elastic Enamel Belt from Arden B. is a perfect touch springy touch and is just $48.00.

Wear a sexy, sexy pair of pumps to complete your feminine look just like America Ferrera’s. I’m obsessed with this pair from All Saints on ASOS.com for around $200.

This Chloe strapless dress will have the same figure-flattering effect as Ashlee’s with a softer drape. I found it on Net-a-Porter, but you’ll need deep pockets for this one. I recommend getting your favorite seamstress in on the deal to make a Chloe-inspired dress.

The perfect black clutch may be pricey, but imagine the cost-per-wear scenario. . . you get the point. I found this black clutch from Zac Posen here.
