Um, doesn’t J Lo know that bell bottoms are simply not the way to go for her body type? What’s even more marvelously yucky are the heavy black boots and hose on her backup dancers. Whoever’s responsible for this needs to rethink their choice of careers, and I’m not kidding. J Lo looks astonishingly terrible.

What DON’T I hate about Victoria’s ensemble here? That top, for lack of a better word, is just foul. A waistcoat-corset is questionable, but sequined leggings are the absolute pits. I’m looking forward to another outfit like this almost as much as I’m looking forward to the Spice Girls reunion.

I love Shakira’s natural look. She looks completely relaxed with that casual bag and funky necklace, but she still manages to look absolutely beautiful.

To top it off, I’m very impressed with that hair color. Let’s just say that I’m keeping this picture in my files when I get a color update.

I think not. I know they’re a big trend, but you’re got to be careful not to abuse them. I’m not sure what Nicole Richi would look like if she weren’t all scrunched up and hiding from stalkerazzi, but I’m guessing those wide stripes swamp her small frame.

Judging from the little piece in Life and Style, I’m not the only one who thinks Vanessa Minnillo’s tee is just right. She picked the perfect fit–slightly loose and a little longer–to complement her longer shorts and bag. Although I’m questioning that part about horizontal stripes being “surprisingly slimming”. . .

I know that she’s got that freshly-floured look going on with a heavy layer of makeup, but something else is weird about Eva. I can’t quite place it–could it be that she’s slimming down for her upcoming wedding? Or is this just a reallllly unflattering dress? Something’s afoot.

If it is, then I’m so glad I didn’t know about it. I bet Fergie’s ankles are furious with her for hiding them away. It’s almost summer, for crying out loud, and they’re bound up good and tight. As for the rest of that outfit, do you think that waistcoat could actually clasp? I’m guessing no, but then again, is anyone really looking with shoes like that?

Naomi Campbell’s feathery shift has me spellbound. I want to hate it, but I really, truly can’t. The feathers are arranged to land just so, the sash is kind of–dare I say–bewitching, and although not entirely seasonal, it’s daring and successful–a combination I wish we saw more often.

I even started looking for a feathery accessory of my own. It can be hard to pull off black during the summer–especially in subtropical climates–but feathers do lighten up your basic black. My favorite piece was the Coque Feather Handbag, which is available in the color that matches with everything, but has that light-as-air feathery effect. It would look amazing with floaty chiffon and killer sculpted wedges.
