Well, the bidding seems to be over. Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt will make her debut in Hello! magazine on June 8th, 2006.

As expected, the long awaited golden child of Brangelina is already receiving tons of gifts.

For example, Itsmybinky.com has made a one-of-a-kind 14K gold and diamond studded pacifier worth $17,000 to give to Shiloh. The binky is made of European white gold and 3 carats of white diamonds.

That’s a lot of bling for a newborn.

TMZ.com gave this story an interesting spin by contacting CARE to see how much the cost of this one item ($17,000) would provide to an African community in need. Among other things, 283 girls could go to school for one year, 61,000 people could eat for a day or 400 families could eat for a month.

Now, the Jolie-Pitts have already proven their generosity and made several donations to help African communities, and I’m not suggesting they give all their celebrity swag and baby gifts away.

But, I do think it’s a good thing when the monetary value of an item can be put into perspective.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrated the birth of their daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, by donating $300,000 to local hospitals in Namibia.

In addition to the $300,000 donation, which was given to two state-run hospitals, the celebrity couple also pledged $15,000 for a school and a community center they once visited during their stay in the country.

I really think it’s wonderful when celebrities use their powers for good.

Angelina Jolie finally gave birth to Brad Pitt’s baby girl in Nambia, Africa on the 27th of May. In true celebrity fashion, the little tot has been named Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Shiloh (pronnounced Shye-loh) means ‘his gift’ in Hebrew.

These damn celebs! They’re popping them out like candy. In Touch Weekly learned that Angelina Jolie is due to have a caesarean section tomorrow, or should I say today, 27th May. Although she had really wanted to have a natural birth, Angelina’s doctors are urging her to have the procedure due to a minor complication. “There’s nothing seriously wrong,” an insider says. “They are expecting it all to be routine.”

She had wanted to have the baby at the Burning Shore Beach Lodge in Swakopmund, the resort that she and Brad had been staying at, but doctors say that she would be safer in a hospital. Her American ob-gyn is flying over from the states for the procedure.

It has been reported that Brad and Angelina want to name their baby, “Africa.”

That’s worse than anything Gwyneth and Chris could come up with!

It’s also been reported that their unborn child is a boy, but I really think “Africa” sounds more like a “pretty” girl’s name.

The worst part: remember, this child is white! It will not be good.

People Magazine has named Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children Zahara and Maddox (pictured here with a family friend in Namibia) the most beautiful family in the world.

That’s a heck of a title. In the entire world? Hmm. I don’t know about that. I always thought my family was quite beautiful…

This past year has been the uglifying-est year for the once hottest-celebs-in-the-world. Take the picture below.

The Bad: The religious zealot nut case hypnotized and took a beautiful young lady captive.
The Ugly: His face is scrunched lately and his hair’s scruffy (not cool for his age).

B. Britney Spears,
The Bad: She married Kevin Federline and has trouble raising her son, Sean Preston.
The Ugly: The former ab it-girl now jiggles and can’t lose her baby weight (a shocker in Hollywood).

C. Brad Pitt,
The Bad: He left wife Jennifer Aniston for homewrecker Angelina Jolie.
The Ugly: In his good deeds (pshh-shawww), he has no time for product, and now this! The mohawk!

Here is Brad Pitt’s new hair style: a mohawk. Yesss, just like little Maddox. I hear he’s adopting him, or has he already? Wait, did I forget if I care?

I also hear he and Angelina Jolie want to have their unborn baby delivered in Africa. Sounds like a dumb idea to me. Their kid won’t be able to grow up to become our president! Do they want to technically force this kid to be foreign, to somehow even out the family? Yes, that sounds crazy. Yes, it could be true, because they’re crazy.

Angelina Jolie is sporting a strange pregnancy fashion here. Obviously, we have the baby bump, but we’re getting a stomach bubble with a hip bubble via a hoop “skirt”(/jacket).

Gawk at its inhuman shape. Revel in its oddness.
