Have you ever found yourself, on laundry day, desperately scavenging about your bedroom searching for something, anything that could possible resemble the outfit of a sane person? These are the times when you start seriously thinking about pairing together clothing choices that you would never otherwise consider.
Well, no matter how bad it gets, do not, under any circumstances, follow the example of Keira Knightley.
It is not ok to tear off your floral pillow case, slit it open, slip it over your head, cinch a wide belt around around your bosoms and go out in public.
This will not give you the appearance of a sane person. And, it will leave others wondering what your breasts could have possibly done to you that would make you so angry that you would restrain them in such a medieval, torturous fashion.

Oh dear, it appears as though the model is curvier than Kiera. At first I thought the reason Kiera looked so bad was due to her lack of a chest, but it doesn’t seem as though the model has any either and she looks stunning. It can’t be her face cause she looks less like a horse than usual… Hmm.

In the July issue of Instyle, the 21 year old actress said she preferred British men to American ones. And how are they different?
“UK guys - well the ones that I know - don’t take as much stock in their appearance. Ask an American guy what his beauty regime is, and he’ll tell you. Ask a Brit, and he’ll say, ‘Er… Guiness?” I like that.”
That’s funny because I’ve always preferred British men to American ones simply because they dress better. The high street stores in the UK have much nicer clothes than the boring old Abercrombie, Gap, J.Crew that makes up America’s “high street”. High street by the way, does not equal high end. Generally though, all the British men I’ve dated are a lot more style conscious than the American ones… but maybe I’m just biased because although I’ve visited the states several times, I’ve never lived there like I did the UK.

Wow! David Beckham sure knows how to celebrate his wife’s birthday!
In addition to a lavish £200 per person dinner party catered by Nobu restaurant, David also bought Victoria the vintage Bulgari necklace worn by Keira Knightley to last month’s Oscar ceremony. The necklace reportedly cost £8million. Not too shabby.

I came across this photo of Keira Knightley at her 21st birthday bash and was struck by the strange quality of it. I’m not sure if it’s the angle or the strange 20’s hairstyle or the makeup, but she just doesn’t look real in this photo.
She looks kind of waxy. Like her look was put together by Madame Tussaud.

Keira Knightley looking fashionable in the city (London, that is), sporting the new Spring trend of floaty jackets.
Discuss amongst yourselves this outfit!

Keira Knightley poses for the Oscars camera in this gorgeous deep burgundy Vera Wang dress with a vintage Bulgari necklace. It’s gunna take awhile for the pictures to come out but this one was the only one I could track down at the minute and thank god, her mouth is shut in this one! That little pout though is a tad annoying. She did admit to having collagen you know, and at such a young age too! Nevermind. I’m sure she knows there is no chance in hell she’s going to win tonight, but at least she looks good!

Remember when Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan looked like this?
If you think about it, it really wasn’t that long ago. Just a few years ago in fact, during the 2nd season of The Simple Life and the filming of Herbie when Nicole Ritchie was considered chubby next to her Paris Hilton counterpart and Lindsay Lohan was plastered all over US Weekly with thunder thighs. But what triggered the dramatic change from cheap fashion victim to boho chic overload? Two words: Zoe Rachel.
For those of you who haven’t heard this name before, you can thank her for both Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan’s sudden and extremely similar change of looks; the wispy long blonde hair, the skimpy flowing gowns, the jutting out of neck bones, and the fake copper tans. All of which of course, she herself boasts. Earning up to $6,000 a day, Rachel Zoe has dressed everyone from Mischa Barton, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Garner. But two of her best and longest standing clients are of course Nicole and Lindsay, who seem attached to her bony hips.
In an interview with The Times, she reportedly said, “I’m not trying to make them look like me. But when you spend a lot of time with someone, you rub off on each other. I think I’m kind of like an older sister to Lindsay and Nicole.”
And there she is, pictured above with both her clones. Never too far behind either of them, in an eerily creepy way. Personally, I really despise what she’s doing. A stylist should work with each client differently creating loooks for them and giving them direction to suit their needs.

Everyone has a different personality and everyone has a different look, but within months of hiring Rachel Zoe, both not only wore the same clothes, but also weighed the same number. Keira Knightley is the next actress to join in on the Zoe bandwagon. An unfortunate move as Keira has always managed to look stunningly elegant on the red carpet. The only pro? Keira already has the weight thing down pat so we don’t have to watch another actres shrink to sample size.

As a side note, I was absolutely thrilled to see that Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” is nominated for Best Animated Picture and very disappointed that “Kung Fu Hustle” was not nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.
But, I can’t wait to see the ceremony, especially since Jon Stewart is hosting this year.
So, what do you all think of the choices? Did your favorites make the cut? Anyone have any early predictions?

Keira Knightley’s Valentino was so original, unique, and simple and ornate at the same time. She was the queen of the night, fashion-wise.

Emmy Rossum is just beautiful, and I love the layers of different-sized tulle ruffles on her Dior gown.

Jessica Alba in a nicely shaped, flattering Versace gown.

Felicity Huffman gets enough love from her husband, so I’ve nothing more to say than “she is in Marchesa,” to add to that fluffy train.

Kyra Sedgwick: I love the lacey ruffles and different use of trendy and flattering belts on her gown by Bottega Veneta.
Minus points for showing leg. Bonus points for showing shoe.

Eva Longoria … in the butt pucker dress by Bob Mackie?

Teri Hatcher: Glitz n’ Diva in Versace. Minus points for skank and attention desperation.

Zhang Ziyi gets points for wearing a bright color in this Giorgio Armani.
