Madonna Looks Less Than Pleased

Eeek! And this is one reason why I’m glad I don’t have people following me around. Madonna’s all “Have pity, please!” but the stalkerazzi take no prisoners. Ruthless.

It is practically assumed for guest stars to appear naked on the racy series, and Madonna, who still has a toned body at nearly 50, is speculated to be no exception. The tone the talkers have is that she understands it goes with the job. Will she fall into bed - or elsewhere - with starring stud Julian McMahon - who plays plastic surgeon Dr. Christian Troy - resident "bad boy"? Well, that practically goes with the job, too! Damn that hot actor really does play a bad, bad boy. Another question is what could Madonna’s character possibly want to change? This should be interesting to watch. Other celebrity guest stars possibly appearing this season are Nicole Kidman (who was rumored to have had the big cut herself in real life) and sweet-girl-next-door Sandra Bullock, who stars with McMahon in the romantic drama, Premonition. Powered by Qumana Madonna’s Offbeat Ad for H&M, Watch IT!March 9, 2007 at 8:32 am by Sarah Jean SnarkerWhat did Madonna smoke before writing that commercial (if she did write IT at all, which I like to believe she did)? Madonna sure has a big ego, IT appears to me from watching IT. IT’s in the little hints that she thinks she’s got IT and is where IT’s at. And talk about video keyword spamming. Trying to cash in on the IT trend generation? IT’s just little jump suits for H&M, doll. You’re not Karl Lagerfeld. You’ve all heard some of the crazy stories about artists’ demands backstage while on tour. These may include everything from cases of Taco Bell tacos to soy-flavored water to bowls of M&M’s with all the green ones removed, etc. Well, this diva demand made me laugh out loud. It seems that while Her Madgesty is on tour she demands a fresh, new toilet seat installed every night in her dressing room bathroom. ‘The seat has to be inspected by her people, then installed - with an unbroken seal - by plumbers before every gig,’ says a source. I think if I were as famous as Madonna I would demand the strangest things I could think of just to see if the concert promoters would do it. For example, my dressing room would have to be painted a specific shade of mango orange and two bronzed he-men would have to be on stand by in loin cloths to fan me with giant palm leaves. The refrigerator would have to be stocked with Grape soda and I would demand a chocolate fountain. No wait, two chocolate fountains. And a zebra… Madonna Turns Up the HeatJuly 19, 2006 at 1:36 pm by HeidiGoLightly
Madonna’s sold out concert at N.Y.C’s Madison Square Garden last night was hot. Literally. Madge demanded the air conditioning be turned down because of her sensitive vocal cords and the temperature inside the venue reached a steamy 90 degrees. One fan described the atmosphere as “suffocating” and another described the concert conditions by saying, “It’s really, really bad. It’s so hot.” I guess Madonna expects her fans to suffer for her art… Source: Female First Madonna and ChildJune 27, 2006 at 1:00 pm by HeidiGoLightlySorry, I just couldn’t resist the ‘artsy’ post title… Madonna and her 9 year old daughter, along with Guy Ritchie, arrived in NYC this week for Madonna’s upcoming concert dates. I just can’t get over how much Lourdes looks like her mother. She’s like a miniature replica, especially in this picture. Photo Source: People Madonna Goes from Rated R to PG-13 For Her DadJune 20, 2006 at 4:30 pm by HeidiGoLightlyMadonna reportedly toned down the naughty talk and audience interaction during her ‘Confessions’ show in Chicago because her father was in the audience. Apparently, in other concerts, there were multiple uses of the dreaded f-word and she flipped the audience off on several occasions. She also reached inside her pants, but that’s really nothing new for Madonna. In contrast, a source who attended the Chicago show as well as an earlier show on the tour said, “She gave the crowd the finger only one time and never once said the f-word.” Hmm. I think if I went to see the Chicago show I might have been a bit disappointed by the PG-13 banter, especially if I had heard stories of rampant potty mouthing. But, there were no reports that she toned down the content of the show in any way, so there was still the lighted crucifix as well as what appears in this picture to be a giant saddle. So, although I’m sure Madonna’s Dad appreciated the toned down language, there were probably plenty of other things that happened during the show to possibly offend him. Recently, Madonna signed a deal with H&M to be the face of their Autumn 2006 collection. Since then, there have been some who claim that the 47-year-old pop star is too old to model for the store, whose customers are mainly younger women. Advertising expert Jerry Della Femina explained: “These kids trade in stars every two or three years, and many don’t know Madonna.” Is there really anyone out there who doesn’t know Madonna?? Madonna’s spokesperson replied to the comments by saying, “I defy any 18-year-old to do a quarter of what Madonna does on stage. I hope Jerry Della Femina takes a nice pill.” Well, what do you think? Is she too old? H&M announced today that it will supply a complete wardrobe for Madonna, her band, dancers and crew members. “Aside from being great fans of Madonna’s music and fashion sense, we admire her ability to always be ahead of the trends in everything she does,” H&M’s head of design said. “We look forward to seeing how her touring family translates H&M’s seasonal trends to their own personal looks.” And, how does Madge feel about the partnership? “Partnering up with H&M feels like a perfect fit. We’ll all get to express ourselves in our own individual ways,” she said. “The dancers and I are excited to go shopping together.” Source: ABC News Madonna Shocks and Sends Thrills, Once MoreMay 23, 2006 at 2:35 pm by Sarah Jean SnarkerMadonna’s Confessions tour opened with a controversial, big bang Sunday night in Los Angeles, and immediately sparked criticism and outrage in religious leaders—and delight in me!
The inciting and exciting incidents in the show included mechanical-horse-riding for “Like a Virgin” (“I wonder why”), a modern-day crucifixion for “Live to Tell” and shirtless men with gags (for the gay men, I think).
David Muir of the Evangelical Alliance accused Madonna of “blatant insensitivity. Madonna’s use of Christian imagery is an abuse and it is dangerous,” he pleaded that she “drop it from the tour.” But entertainment fans and celebrity admirers alike are eating the shtick up. Celebs who attended Madonna’s kick-off show, include (mini-shocktress) Nicole Richie, (activist) Rosie O’Donnell and (sexy) Salma Hayak. The concert was sold out despite sky-high prices, but hopefully you can catch a glimpse of this successful, entertaining and provocative tour, which runs through North America for the next two months. |
