Remember back when Britney, Angelina, Katie Holmes, Gwenyth Paltrow, Melissa Joan Hart, Jennifer Garner, Heidi Klum, Melanie Brown (is that not her name anymore?), blah blah blah — were all pregnant and/or giving birth at the same time?

Well, now … here we go again??

Emma Bunton (baby spicy bun-tonned in the oven months back), Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez (will her bust now match her butt?), Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Melissa Joan Hart again……

All I’m thinking is, do celebrity women get pregnant at the same time, just like real-life girl friends get their periods??? Watch out famous women, up your birth control!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes say they are finally bowing to public pressure and will release photos their daughter ’shortly’.

There are many rumors swirling around as to where the photos will appear including a story that the pictures will be featured in a fall issue of Vanity Fair and the photographs will be shot by legendary photgrapher Annie Liebowitz.

But, again, this is all speculation at this point. The only thing that’s been confirmed is that we will see Suri “shortly”.

My question is, does anyone really care anymore? What do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing the photos?

TMZ.com has obtained a copy of Suri Cruise’s birth certificate. So, that certainly is an indication that she does, in fact, exist. Right? Well, yes and no. Even though her existence has been documented with a birth certificate, there are several interesting things to note that are sure to keep the controversy going. For example:

1. The hospital where Suri was born has a policy of filing birth certificates within 10 days of birth. Suri was born on April 18th, but her birth certificate was not filed until May 8, 20 days later. Suspicious, no?
The official reason for the delay was that the parents or a representative for the parents had to sign the document to certify birth and they were unavailable until May 4th. The signer of the certificate is labeled a “friend” and the signature is illegible. The plot thickens.

2. The ‘attendant or certifier’ who signed the certificate was not actually in the delivery room and did not see the baby.

3. The circumstance that led to the signing of the birth certificate was that Suri needed a passport. Hmmm.

So, there is still some mystery surrounding Suri. If Tom and Katie would just release a photo, then maybe it could finally be resolved. After all it’s been a few months now. How is it even possible that there are no photos of this child circulating?

Tom Cruise has stated that now that he has fathered a child, he could have 10 of them.

“I always wanted to be a father. I remember my whole life, I wanted to be a father. So I’m hoping maybe I have 10 children,” he said with laughter at a press conference in Tokyo.

Uum … You adopted two children with Nicole Kidman, you idiot. You were already a father; those count. You complete jerk. Oh my god!

So, Tom, do you want 10, 12, 13? 10 more? What counts here?

Rumor has it that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee to sing at their upcoming wedding.

Katie Holmes reportedly met McPhee at Los Angeles’ Church of Scientology, where the singer allegedly attended courses with her boyfriend.

Brooke Shields took 1-month-old Grier on the baby girl’s first public outing last week, leaving me to wonder when those first shots of little Suri will be snatched up.

She lives in a crazy existence of over-protectedness from the light of flash bulbs. (Some have wondered if she even exists.)

This past week, several news outlets claimed that Katie was “constantly in tears” since giving birth to her daughter Suri last month, and speculated that she could be suffering from post-partum depression.

Tom Cruise, however, has denied these reports and his publicist has released a statement saying, “Those reports are not true. Ms Holmes is doing wonderfully.”

Now, if Katie is experiencing some post-partum depression, I think we all know what course of action will be prescribed for her. Tom’s view on the treatment of post-partum depression is well known. “You can use vitamins to help a woman through those things.”

Hmm…

Maybe Tom is right and Katie is not suffering from post-partum depression after all. Maybe she’s suffering from the kind of depression where you realize you’ve made a terrible mistake and you just had Tom Cruise’s baby and are now trapped in the Fortress of Scientology mansion with him monitoring your every move. I don’t think there are enough vitamins in the world to fix that kind of depression.

That’s why I’m hoping the latest round of gossip is true and Katie has taken Suri back to Ohio, without Tom, to introduce her daughter to her side of the family.

Tom Cruise says he can’t wait to marry Katie Holmes, but he’s already waited over a year. Now comes word that he’s just gotten her to sign a pre-nup that could pay her more than his movie made over the weekend, which is $48 million. The total worth of the pre-nup is $52 million. They’re reportedly spent the last several weeks going over the details. There’ll be a $19 million trust fund for Katie and the baby, regardless of whether or not they get married. If they marry and later get divorced, she gets an extra $33 million.

Wow, Tom’s giving her money in a pre-nup? I suppose this prevents her from taking half of everything, and effectively makes it a worthwhile, money-saving pre-nup. If they stay married, why would she need this money? And if they’re so in love, why think of divorce? Tom, you said you won’t let her go!

There are many things I do not understand about Katie/Kate Holmes and her tendency to display her undergarments is one of them.

“We’re looking forward to seeing this,” Cruise told reporters. “This is Katie’s first night out since we had Suri.”

I suppose that makes sense. Since she should act as mommy and try to rest. But coincidentally, it’s Cruise’s big night of the year. She didn’t promote her own move, Thank You for Smoking (oh she was in that? really? yeah), even.
