With the success of Grey’s Anatomy you’d think Ellen Pompeo could at least hire a decent stylist. Although this dress is perfect for the occassion - it’s very Galliano - it’s more suited to someone with a voluptous figure such as Dita von Teese. Sticking your chest out like that will not hide the fact you have nothing to fill out the outfit - no boobs, no waist, and no face to make up for it. It’s fine to have a boyish figure but why won’t these celebs learn to dress for their bodies?? It’s such a shame because this dress is gorgeous.

This is an incredibly beautiful dress on a very pretty girl . . . but it’s not flattering in the least. Black is a slimming color, and she’s already so petite. Unfortunately, this combination makes her appear sickly.

I think Ellen is beautiful! This dress is not her best but I think the bottom of the skirt works for her.
