From Runway to Red Carpet

Mischa Barton dazzles in Dolce & Gabbana outshining the runway model tenfold.

Emily Rossum looks amazing (neck down) in this Celine dress. Unfortunately, she didn’t wear the hat. Hiding her 40 year old face would have been an improvement. Can you believe this girl hasn’t even hit 20? I dread to think what she’ll look like 10 years from now.

The Gucci S/S 06 dress as it was meant to be worn…. Drew absolutely butchered it with her chubby stomach and large breasts. Clearly this dress was meant for the flat and the skinny… I know you’ve lost weight Drew darling, but don’t delude yourself. You’re no Nicole Ritchie.

Stripes is all over Ralph Lauren this season. Not a huge fan of the outfit but Penelope manages to pull it off, looking less horsier than usual, and just all round fab.

I think Emily Rossum is a beauty. That example is one: of the first, the dress wearing the woman, and the second, a sexy lady wearing a dress.

I don’t think a 19 year old should look like her. A 19 year old should look youthful. Emmy Rossum looks 40. In some shots I’ve seen of her, she looks older than my mum. She would be pretty for a 40 year old though, just not 19.

I would have never guessed that the Drew dress and runway dress were the same. It is not a flattering cut - and Drew isn’t that big.
Many more people have Drew’s body (or wish they had Drew’s body) than the size 0, 6 foot model. I wish designers wouldn’t use those spindly monsters as their “muses.”

Very good point, Czar.
