Gwyneth Paltrow’s Expensive Yoga Lesson

Gwyneth Paltrow

Recently, one devoted fan with a LOT of extra cash successfully bid on a single yoga lesson with Gwyneth Paltrow. The bid? $55,000.

The actress offered the Yoga lesson to help raise money for the Prince’s Trust charity in the U.K.

“Someone’s spent a great deal of money on it so I’m going to have to really come up with an excellent plan,” said Gwyneth. “Unfortunately, I can’t do it in the nude or anything to make it really exceptional, but I will try and come up with a good plan for a yoga lesson.”

I wonder how much a fan would’ve bid for a single Yoga lesson with Madonna…

Can’t she do it nude for more money to the charity? Is she self-conscious about baby weight?

  2. HeidiGoLightly Says:

I was thinking that too! Maybe that would’ve been possible in the $100,000 range…

  3. LadyT. Says:

I don’t get out of bed for less than $10,000.

(Boy, I really hope y’all get that reference. Otherwise, that sounds pretty obnoxious!)

  4. LadyT. Says:

Okay, tell me if this is happening to anyone else: I just tried submitting a comment in response to “Paris Hilton’s Style: Yay or Nay,” and each of the three or four times I hit the “Submit Comment” button, I was immediately and without warning transferred to the FBI’s home page! What is up with that????

  5. Sarah Jean Snarker Says:

I would like to get out of bed for nothing but $0, a free day. Ha. (Mm, bed.)

  6. Sarah Jean Snarker Says:

Wow, good thing you’re not banned. That means your comment was flagged as spam. It’s some weird Word Press setting. Or plugin setting … I think. Try again or I’ll see what we can do.

  7. LadyT. Says:

Well, I tried again, but still got bumped to fbi.gov. That is so wild. But, no worries. My comment wasn’t particularly witty or pithy or glib-y or anything fun like that. Thanks, anyway, SJS!

  8. Sarah Jean Snarker Says:

Your comment was NOT in the “caught spams” section. Maybe we shouldn’t have multiple comment spam thingies. What a world.

When I checked the posts today, I was surprised at the number of comments. I couldn’t believe this topic was so popular as to warrant so much interest . Then, I realized it wasn’t. But, I hope your technical difficulties have been solved, Lady T! Luckily you had SJS to help you =)!

  10. Sarah Jean Snarker Says:

    Sorry, Heidi.

  11. HeidiGoLightly Says:

It’s no problem, SJS. It makes me look popular =)
