“I’m going to be so good I’m going to have a halo by the end of the night,” Mizrahi told Ryan Seacrest. “I’m not going to talk about body parts anymore, or underwear. I’ve been warned.”

Sadly, Mizrahi was true to his word. He was effectively bludgeoned into conforming to what was expected of an interviewer on the red carpet. So, needless to say, the pre-show was back to being boring. The celebrities were safe once again. He didn’t grope anyone. He didn’t ask anyone if their private areas were specially coiffed for the awards ceremony. He didn’t try to look down anyone’s dress. He didn’t even recommend they carry condoms in their purse. Sigh.

I guess Mizrahi’s Golden Globes performance was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

   I must admit, it was sad to see Isaac be tamed. A moment of silence please.
