Jon Stewart is funny because what he says is true. He says what we are thinking, and we love him for it.

1. In the song nominee performance for Crash, there was a staged fire on stage, with artful escapees.

   Jon pointed out that in a real fire, we should not run away in slow motion.

2. After I noticed that a presenter’s speaking was out of sync with the delay, Jon came through again and claimed that the musician for another musical piece was “finger syncing.”
3. At first, the montages were moving. After a few, they became yawns. So many! And Jon…

   “Holy crap! We are out of film clips! If you have film clips, please send them. I don’t care if they are on Beta.”
