Contact Music has reported that Lindsay Lohan (or LoHo as jealous haters refer to her) has been signed on to be the new face of Chanel. Lindsay met with Chanel’s chief designer Karl Lagerfeld for a special photoshoot earlier this month which I’m sure we’re all dying to see. Lindsay is quite obviously a fan of Chanel having been sporting their tweed bags and 2.55 reissues all over town.

Lindsay has also named Kate Moss as her style icon and her recent meal with the supermodel at Mr. Chow confirms this. Here’s hoping Lindsay doesn’t follow in Kate’s cocaine footsteps to become LiLo BlowHo.

   I see something dark and nasty on the horizon. I hope it’s not Lilo passed out in a club while someone takes pictures. I really want to ignore her maturing face, but I have to say that she is a lovely girl. Although, clearly this girl has fashion “Issues” if she wants to call Kate her style icon!

   I much prefer Nicole Kidman (for Chanel No. 5 perfume)!

   I can’t see Lindsay putting away her image to look elegant and classy enough for Chanel. She could have had it in her, but celeb-dom, partying, and the appeal of being a sex symbol overtook her.
