Low Ratings for Blubbering Britney

I caught it on YouTube but it appears, a lot less people caught it at all. Star is reporting that whilst the emotional interview Britney Spears had with Matt Lauer on Dateline may have boosted sympathy for the poor pregnant mum, it did little in terms of boosting the network’s ratings.
Apparently, it finished third in its Thursday night time slot. In fact, more people watched a re-run of CBS’s criminal drama CSI from last summer! And more people watched the NBA finals game on ABC, during the same time slot. The Dateline interview, which aired from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., averaged 8.9 million viewers — over 2 million viewers less than the CSI re-run. The NBA game, meanwhile, snagged 9 million viewers.

Oh My! I can’t get over the interview with Brittany Spears. In my opinion, it confirmed everything I thought about her. She seemed fake. She lied. Her outfit said it all! She wants to prove she’s a great mother, but wears a maternity outfit with her breasts pushed up and obviously demanding attention. When Matt asked her about Kevin, she looked away when she said that he was living in the house and their marriage was fine, which indicated lying to me. Anyway, I could go on (how bout the gum chewing?).

She looked SO bad. Her roots and globby mascara made her look like the red state girl she is. And nevermind the viewing public–do you really want to expose that much boobage to Matt Lauer? She was leaning in and everything. Ugh.
