Macaulay Culkin is now a published author, with his semi-fictional book, Junior; a collection of journal-like entries, consisting of letters, poems and drawings—all addressed to the character’s father. Culkin’s real life father has been estranged from Macaulay since he was a (child-star) boy.
But does author mean writer?

Well, one passage is simply a curse word repeated. Sure, that might be a creative portion … or not. How is the book? It’s critically teased, and at the same time, called “searingly honest and brain-teasingly inventive. Junior is breathtaking proof that Culkin has found his own utterly original voice.”
