Prosecutors in Britain decided today that they would not charge model Kate Moss over allegations of cocaine use. This past September, the Daily Mirror published pictures of the supermodel apparently using cocaine in a music studio where her then-boyfriend, musician Pete Doherty, was recording.
The Crown Prosecution Service said there was “insufficient evidence” to bring charges, although they stated there was an “absolutely clear indication” that Moss was using an illegal substance. “However”, they went on to say, ” in the absence of any forensic evidence, or direct eyewitness evidence about the substance in question, its precise nature could not be established.”
