The Oscars define the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, and I for one, can’t wait for the ceremony on Monday. I don’t really care who wins. I’m more interested in what everyone will be wearing. These are just some of my predictions/hopes of what this year’s stars should be donning for the Oscar 2006 awards.

Nicole Kidman

The one on the left is a gorgeous piece of Chanel Couture Spring 2006, minus the jacket of course. The other white dress on the right is Elie Saab Couture Spring 2006. I think she’d look absolutely fabulous in both but I have a feeling she’ll be going for Chanel.

Zhang Ziyi

Zhang Ziyi has quite the bold taste in colours when it comes to her dresses. Never one to be seen in a simple LBD, I reckon she’ll go for Dior or Armani Prive as seen above. Both are colours I think she’s quite fond of and both will look, as much as I hate to admit it, stunning on her.

Halle Berry

With her dark skin tone, I think Halle Berry would shine in this Elie Saab Couture Spring 06 shade of pink. The sexy slit right up to her arse seems right up her alley.

Thandie Newton

Elie Saab Couture seems to have the best collection of Oscar worthy dresses this season and you can’t deny this gold number will be radiant on Thandie.

Rachel Weisz

Yes, I know she’s preggers, but with some adjustment, I think this Valentino Spring 06 Couture dress matches her style perfectly. Either her or Kate Winslet. They kinda look alike to me anyway.
