Project Runway: The Final Three
March 2nd, 2006 at 11:37 pm by HeidiGoLightly » Bookmark on del.icio.us » Digg It?I’ve been wanting to ask for awhile if there were any other fans of Project Runway out there.
I have been thoroughly addicted to the show since last year when a friend of mine said I should watch it because a friend of a friend of his was one of the contestants. Turns out, his friend of a friend was Jay McCarroll, the winner of Season One. But now, nearing the end of Season Two, last night’s episode was part one of the two part season finale.
Now, there are terrific blogs out there who are absolutely devoted to the show like Blogging Project Runway and others, like The Manolo, who do a terrific re-cap of each episode as it airs so I won’t go into details about the episode, but check out the links if you want more info.
The basic premise is that they started with 16 aspiring designers and have narrowed the field down to three designers. The final three actually showed their lines recently at New York’s Olympus Fashion Week. So, my question to all of you is, who do you think should win? I know all the readers of this blog are intelligent and stylish, so check out their runway photos and let me know what you think.

Blogging Project Runway is the best!
I’m so dissapointed that Nick didn’t make it to the final 3 (or 4, because at least he would have gotten to make a decoy collection).
Smart money on Santino- they kept him around because they can’t wait to do Project Santino.

I’m a huge Daniel V. fan, but after looking at the collections, I am totally impressed — and pleasantly surprised — by the beauty and femininity of Santino’s collection. Much to my dismay, I have to give the edge to the #1 Tim Gunn impersonator, Santino.

Yep, his collection really brought it on. I think it definitely has an edge on Daniel and Chloe - and after watching the first part of the finale, I think it’s pretty obvious that Daniel isn’t even in the running.
I can’t believe Chloe procrastinated on finishing her collection. I think that shows that she doesn’t really want this.
