Reese Witherspoon, pictured above in a recent photo with husband Ryan Phillippe, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Star magazine and its parent company, American Media Inc., over a cover story that claimed she is pregnant with her third child. The article went on to suggest that the actress was hiding her pregnancy from producers of her upcoming films and hiding her body under old fashioned swimsuits, baggy clothes and empire waist dresses.

Reese claims that the story was fabricated to boost “sagging sales” of the magazine and that it was an invasion of privacy which had the potential to damage her reputation by implying that she was dishonest with producers.

Witherspoon’s lawyer has said definitively that the star is not pregnant.
The issue of Star magazine with the cover story is already available in some stores.

   Hmm, baby or not, I love looking at her husband. If she’s photographed with him more, no one will be looking for a bump because he will be too distracting.
