Sarah Jessica Parker at ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker

I understand that in order be a fashion icon, risks must be taken and there will be times when you miss the target.

And, Sarah Jessica Parker is a fashion icon, no doubt. I mean, she was Carrie Bradshaw, for goodness sake.

So, even though I really don’t like this dress at all because it looks really stiff and I don’t like the sleeves or the waist sash-y thing or the way it kind of bubbles at the bottom and looks like it was made from something akin to foil, her iconic status is still intact with me. Even after the disastrous plaid incident…

But, I always adore her shoes and this is no exception. I love the color and the style. I just can’t recall her wearing a bad shoe…

I was planning on posting this photo, but I would say almost the opposite. I like the dress, it’s fashionista, youthful (which most can get away with in some ways) … yet …

I don’t like how the shoes mis-match. They’re blue and the dress is gold!

SJS, I love the way we see things differently! This blog would be pretty darn boring if everyone thought the same way! Personally, I love the way the shoes mismatch. Can’t really say why, but Viva La Difference of opinion!
