Scary Hair

Obviously, the hairstylist who did this is a very angry person who feels bitter, underappreciated and should be considered armed with a teasing comb and dangerous. If you see this hairstylist, do not approach. You’ll get Aqua Net right in the eyes.

I hated this hair style from the beginning. But now that ponytails are in, I’m sort of liking it more. Done subtly and right, of course. It gives a plain ponytail more something, more of a frame to the face, for those who look boring or mannish in ponytails (we’re not all models).
But this stylist made these actresses’ heads too messy.

I think the ponytail is a tricky style to pull off for public appearances, but I agree with you that it can be quite lovely when done right. I thought there were lots of celebrities who pulled it off quite well at recent award shows. To me, however, it will always be a “going to the gym” style.

Right now, I’m thinking it’s going to be my “my school bag pulls my hair argh can’t stand it anymore” school day staple. Good thing the ponytail is in.
